Please check your student's sketchbooks; some are falling apart or have very few pages left. The sketchbooks are used daily in class and will need to be replaced.  Thanks so much!

Gr. 4- Cartooning
Gr. 5- Painting rocks
Gr. 6-7- Optical Illusions
Gr. 8- Various Photoshop and graduation projects
    
September 15th marks the anniversary of the publication of the best selling author/illustrator Peter Reynolds' The Dot. Educators began celebrating this date as International Dot Day- a day fro classes to explore the story's powerful themes: bravery, creativity, and self-expression.
At Mother of God we will be celebrating Dot Day on Thursday September 20th. Students will be working with varies Dot projects in both Art class and PBL. In addition Thursday will be a free dress day for students to wear "DOTS" please adhere to the proper dress code for free dress day.
