We are in the classroom this fall!

Mother of God School is uniquely prepared to be able to have in-person classes!
As a small, private school, Mother of God School is able to offer in-person instruction to our students.  With class sizes small enough to enable social distancing, we are ready to get back to the tried and true educational model that has served our students so well over the years. We are looking forward to returning to class on August 31st!

  • Our class sizes are already small and can accommodate social distancing
  • Protocols implemented to create class cohorts which don’t intermix, reducing exposure
  • Adopting daily health screening for students and staff
  • UV Germicidal bulbs in each classroom to disinfect rooms overnight
  • HEPA HVAC system filters to purify classroom air
  • Updated disinfecting protocol throughout the day
  • Updated student hygiene protocol throughout the day
Be assured that we will follow CDC and Maryland Dept of Health criteria
2020-2021 TASK FORCE

A task force has been established following the guidance provided by the CDC, the Archdiocese of Washington, and our accreditation agency. Every aspect of our School operation is being reviewed with adjustments being made. Extracurricular and non-essential activities are being streamlined to provide resources for extensive health protocols. A committee of professionals has reviewed our Remote Instruction and created Professional Development for our teaching staff.

As we gather more information, we will notify you of any additional changes/accommodations.
