I have been involved with Mother of God School since its beginnings, as a parent volunteer while our five children attended and graduated from the school. As members of the Mother of God Community we are very grateful for all the support and encouragement that we received in raising and educating our children. In 1997 I began working as an aide in the First Grade classroom, assisting the teachers, working with individual students and small groups. For the past 17 years I have taught Religion to the First Graders and now to the Second Grade, one of my favorite things to do! My husband Mike and I have 7 grandchildren. Our oldest son Fr. Andy was ordained a priest in 2009 and celebrates Mass for the school when he is in town for a family visit. It is exciting to have as a coworker my son Paul as the 8th Grade teacher. My husband Mike was ordained a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church 2008. He assists at the school Masses and Eucharistic Holy Hours. It is a great blessing to see many of our current and former students serving at St. John Neumann as altar servers, lectors and youth group leaders. I look forward to meeting you when you visit our wonderful school!
