Mother of God School seeks to prepare students who,
grounded in sound academics and strong faith,
go forth bearing Christ to the world
in their personal and professional lives.
With Mary as its model, the school accomplishes this in an atmosphere of love and respect:
Through academic excellence in the humanities, arts and sciences, and
In living the Good News through worship and service.

Distinct Benefits of a Mother of God School Education

Small Classes
The ratio of full time equivalent teachers to students is approximately 1:11.

Instructional Practices
Teachers incorporate “best practices” in education – including small group instruction, collaborative learning opportunities and the integration of technology into all subjects.

Thirty Years Experience
Mother of God School has a proven track record of consistently preparing students to excel in high school and beyond. Our students have been accepted into magnet programs at surrounding public high schools as well as at all the local private high schools including Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. John’s Catholic Prep, Connelly School of the Holy Child, Georgetown Prep, Oakcrest and the Academy of the Holy Cross. Our graduates have been awarded scholarships for merit in academics, music and art.

Private, Coed Catholic Education
Mother of God School takes seriously its role as a Catholic school, encouraging students to live a vibrant, joy-filled faith in all areas of their lives. The sacramental life of the Church is incorporated into the school schedule. Students apply Catholic social justice teachings and the beatitudes in the course of the year through both ongoing and special service projects.
